Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Johnstown, PA. As a DSP, you will provide direct care, support with ADLs, personal care, and transportation, helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead more independent lives.

No experience required – paid training provided. This PRN (as-needed) position offers flexible shifts including evenings, overnights, and weekends, with opportunities to grow and contribute to a compassionate team at Merakey.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• No experience required – paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety and well-being, including medication support as trained.
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
