Job summary

AHL HealthCare Group is hiring Direct Support Professionals to advocate, support, educate, and care for individuals with disabilities or mental illness in 4-bedroom homes in Duluth, Hermantown and Saginaw, MN.

Positions available part-time and full-time with day, evening, and overnight shifts. Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance; disability and life insurance; and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Ability to pass a MN DHS background study.
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Driver's license preferred but not required (less pay for non-drivers).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with clients and coworkers.
• Medication administration.
• Documenting daily services in electronic records.
• Socializing with residents and doing activities with them.
• Accompanying clients to appointments.
