Job summary

AHL HealthCare Group is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Saginaw, MN 55779. You will advocate, support, educate, and care for individuals with disabilities or mental illness in a 4-bedroom home setting. Positions include day and evening shifts with part-time hours.

Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $19.00 per hour, depending on driving status and location; driving is preferred for Duluth-area sites. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Ability to pass a MN DHS background study.
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Driver's license is preferred to reach these locations on Duluth's outskirts (additional $0.50/hour if non-driver).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with the clients and coworkers.
• Medication administration.
• Documenting on the services provided daily in the electronic records and computer system.
• Socializing with residents and doing activities with them.
• Going to appointments with clients.
