Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dietary Aide to provide dining services in our skilled nursing and memory care environments. You will assist residents with meal choices, help with food preparation, and ensure meals are served safely and on time.

The role requires basic cooking skills, knowledge of sanitation guidelines, and the ability to read diet orders and follow recipes. A food safety certificate is preferred, and Hepatitis A vaccination may be required where applicable.

Qualifications

• One year of dietary aide experience preferred.
• Basic cooking skills and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions and diet orders.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with interruptions.
• Must have or be willing to receive a recognized food safety handling certification.
• Hepatitis A vaccine may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with food and beverage choices within dietary restrictions.
• Prepare meals, beverages and food items and ensure proper temperatures and timely service.
• Set up dining areas, replenish condiments, and handle bussing and clean-up duties.
• Maintain HACCP logs, monitor food temps and waste, and report hazards or issues.
• Follow safety procedures and infection control protocols.
