Job summary

Serene Health Services is hiring a Dietary Aide for its long-term care unit. The role supports daily kitchen and dining operations, assisting with meal preparation, tray service, sanitation, and dishwashing to ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and well-presented meals each day.

Under supervision, you will help maintain a clean kitchen and dining area, follow dietary instructions, and participate in training and safety drills as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or healthcare is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong emphasis on cleanliness and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages.
• Assemble resident meal trays according to diet orders.
• Deliver and retrieve meal trays and nourish items.
• Label and distribute nourishments correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes and equipment.
• Follow diet instructions and portion guidelines.
• Support daily kitchen and dining operations.
