Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Dining Services Assistant who will help provide nourishing meals to residents in accordance with established policies and therapeutic diets. You will assist in meal service, prep, room service, and dining area setup while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Reporting to the Director of Dining Services, you will participate in training and teamwork to ensure hospitality, respect, and quality service.

Qualifications

• Level of Formal Education: High School Diploma.
• Years of Experience: Entry Level (0-3 Years).
• Type of Experience: Food Service or Hospitality.
• Special Certifications: Serv Safe or required certification from local, county or state department.
• Language Skills: Clear verbal communication.
• Skills and Ability: Basic cooking and service techniques.
• Personal Attributes: Positive and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Follow Dining Policy and Procedures.
• Serve meals ensuring proper portions and diet restrictions.
• Set up, deliver, and verify meal trays and dining areas.
• Assist cooks and obtain proper supplies for next meals.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
