Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years’ experience in food preparation, purchasing, kitchen safety, sanitation, and menu preparation in a restaurant, health care facility, or institution.
• Speak, read, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare salads, bake desserts, and complete menu meals on time and without direct supervision of the Culinary Services Director.
• Read, interpret, and follow production sheets and menus.
• Contribute to reducing food waste and using resources efficiently.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and dishwashing machine.
• Maintain cleanliness of ovens, grills, workspace and utensils.
