Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Dietary Aide to work with our dining services team. You will set tables, buss, wash dishes, assist the cook as needed, and help maintain a warm, welcoming dining room for residents and visitors.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; six months' food service experience preferred; obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by state; strong teamwork and communication are essential to delivering excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months’ prior experience in a food service department preferred.
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.

Responsibilities

• Setting tables, bussing tables, washing dishes.
• Assisting the cook as needed.
• Completing cleaning duties.
• Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
