Job summary

Indigo Hall in Marlborough, SC is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our culinary team and help provide nutritious, high-quality meals to residents. You will assist with meal service, food safety, and dining experiences.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent); prior food service experience is preferred; you should be a team player with excellent communication and compassion for the elderly. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meal assistance: prepare, portion, and serve meals per dietary plans.
• Sanitation: maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas and wash dishes.
• Resident support: assist with meal setup, serving, and dining experience.
• Food safety: follow safety protocols for storage, handling and sanitation.
• Inventory support: assist in receiving and storing food and supplies; report shortages.
• Team collaboration: work with the dietary team to ensure smooth operations.
• Resident engagement: fulfill special dietary requests and resident preferences.
