Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring for a Dining Room Server to deliver meals to residents and guests with prompt, courteous service. You will work with the dietary team and help maintain a safe, efficient kitchen environment.

The role requires reading and following directions, strong communication with residents and staff, and adherence to health and safety standards. A Food Handlers Permit is required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Must obtain Food Handlers Permit (as required by State regulations).
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to residents and guests in a timely manner and on a schedule.
• Provide healthy meals along with first-class customer service.
• Work as part of the dietary team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
