Job summary

PruittHealth in Monroe, NC is seeking a Dietary Aide HCC to support meal preparation, tray assembly, and patient dining services. You will follow established food handling procedures, assist with menu substitutions, and ensure a clean, sanitary dining and kitchen area.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing meals, desserts and/or snacks for patients/residents; i.e. salads and desserts and other dishes.
• Use proper food handling processes, procedures and policies.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Deliver and serve meals to patients/residents in dining area; food and beverages.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and serve per guidelines.
• Offer menu substitutions and record them per guidelines.
• Follow procedures for serving partner meals.
• Communicate well with patients/residents and family, greet warmly and respond to concerns professionally.
