Job summary

Sunshine Terrace Foundation in Logan, UT, is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and service for residents of a skilled nursing facility. The role requires following planned menus and dietary restrictions, maintaining sanitary kitchen and dining areas, and delivering meals with respect and timeliness.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; healthcare or food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in food service or healthcare setting is a plus.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, respectful, and reliable.
Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety is preferred (we'll train the right person!).

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary restrictions.
Ensure that all food is handled and served in a safe and sanitary manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
Deliver meals to residents in a timely and respectful manner.
Work closely with dietary and nursing staff to ensure resident needs and preferences are met.
Wash dishes, sanitize kitchen equipment, and help with inventory organization and restocking efforts.
