Job summary

Sunshine Terrace Foundation in Logan, UT, is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and service for residents of a skilled nursing facility. The role requires following planned menus and dietary restrictions, maintaining sanitary kitchen and dining areas, and delivering meals with respect and timeliness.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; healthcare or food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, respectful, and reliable.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety is preferred (we'll train the right person!).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary restrictions.
• Ensure that all food is handled and served in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Deliver meals to residents in a timely and respectful manner.
• Work closely with dietary and nursing staff to ensure resident needs and preferences are met.
• Wash dishes, sanitize kitchen equipment, and help with inventory organization and restocking efforts.
