PruittHealth is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation and serving in our Georgia facility. The role involves following established guidelines for storing, serving, and transporting food, plus cleaning and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities include assisting cooks, delivering trays, preparing nourishments, offering substitutions, and ensuring courteous communication with patients, residents, and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• On-the-job training is provided.
• Previous food service and/or long-term care dietary experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist cook in preparing meals, desserts and snacks for patients/residents.
• Use proper food handling processes, procedures and policies.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Deliver and serve meals to patients/residents in dining area; food and beverages.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and serve per guidelines.
• Offer menu substitutions and record them per guidelines.
• Follow procedures for serving partner meals.
• Communicate with patients/residents and family members with a warm, friendly demeanor and respond to concerns.
