Job summary

Burlington Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join the Food Services team. In this role, you will assist with meal preparation, delivery, and maintain a clean dining environment.

Working alongside the Dietitian and dietary team, you will help support the nutritional needs of residents. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while providing excellent service.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours.
• Previous dietary, food service, healthcare, or long-term care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, meal service, and delivery of food trays.
• Prepare and deliver snacks according to residents’ needs.
• Serve meals using proper portion-control procedures.
• Ensure meals are attractive and appetizing.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and food-service spaces.
• Maintain clean food storage areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Report concerns to the Dietitian or Director of Food Services.
