Job summary

Burlington Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable Dietary Aide to assist in all food functions and to deliver high-quality service to residents. You will work with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services to implement recommended changes and maintain a clean, safe food service environment.

Responsibilities include serving meals and snacks, delivering trays, and assisting in daily cleaning tasks while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to move intermittently and perform physical tasks.
• Must be a supportive team member and promote teamwork.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the service and delivery of food trays to designated areas.
• Clean the kitchen per established protocols and maintain a clean environment.
• Prepare and deliver snacks as directed.
• Serves meals in accordance with portion control procedures.
• Serves meals that are appetizing and palatable in appearance.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, washing utensils, and maintaining storage areas.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Dietitian/Director of Food Services.
