Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and serving according to menus, with attention to special diets and sanitation. You will help maintain clean, safe food service areas and follow infection control protocols while supporting residents with snacks and meal delivery.

The role requires reading, writing and speaking English, patience and a cooperative attitude, and a willingness to adapt food practices as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm when interacting with residents.
• Willingness to adopt new food practices and methods as directed.
• Cannot pose a direct health or safety threat in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals per planned menus and dietary orders.
• Ensure sanitation and safety in food service areas and infection control practices.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning and maintain utensil availability for next meal.
• Deliver snacks, carts, and trays; assist with kitchen/dining room duties as instructed.
