Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with all food functions according to established policies and procedures. The role includes meal preparation, serving, and ensuring sanitary standards are maintained in the kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities also cover delivering snacks and meals, cleaning duties, and supporting infection control in daily tasks to ensure a safe dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in food service areas.
• Must possess patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals according to planned menus and dietary orders.
• Ensure department cleanliness and proper infection control practices in daily tasks.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning and ensure utensils are available for next meal.
• Deliver snacks, meals, and beverages; assist with food cart/tray delivery and floor cleaning as instructed by supervisor.
