Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to support kitchen and dining operations in our community setting.

You will assist in meal preparation, serving, and nourishment snacks, while maintaining clean work areas and following established safety and infection control policies. The role requires reading, writing, and speaking English, reliable attendance, and the ability to work beyond normal hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; carry up to 50 lbs; reach above shoulder height and push/pull as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen area before, during, and after meals; maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment.
• Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages; prepare and serve in-between meal nourishment snacks.
• Follow safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies; report hazards or incidents to supervision.
