Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen area prior to, during and after meals. You will help maintain clean facilities, prepare and serve meals, and support the cook as needed while following safety and infection control policies.

Attention to detail and the ability to work with residents and staff in a respectful manner are essential, along with reliable attendance and basic computer skills for documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Facility’s policies and procedures.
• Treat residents, family members and staff with dignity and respect.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Assist in serving meals and beverages.
• Prepare and serve nourishment snacks between meals.
• Assist in cleaning duties and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Assist cook in meal preparation when needed.
• Follow safety and infection control policies at all times.
