Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen before, during, and after meals, keeping work areas clean and equipment in order.

You will support meal service, prepare between-meal nourishment snacks, and help with daily cleaning while following safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies. Must read, write, and understand English and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work weekends if needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with personnel, safety, and corporate policies.
• Report allegations of resident abuse/neglect to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Serve meals and pour beverages.
• Prepare and serve between-meal nourishment snacks.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties per policies.
• Clean work tables, refrigerators, storage areas.
• Assist cook in meal preparation as needed.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Report hazards to supervisor immediately.
• Wear protective clothing when handling waste.
