Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. seeks a Dietary Aide to support kitchen operations before, during, and after meals, ensuring clean work areas and orderly equipment. You will assist in serving meals, preparing snacks, and following established safety and infection control policies.

The role requires regular attendance, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift and handle supplies as needed, including weekends and holidays as required by the Community.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to use basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work weekends/holidays when required.
• Follow safety, infection control, and universal precautions policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen before, during, and after meals.
• Maintain clean work areas, including tables, meat blocks, and refrigeration.
• Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents and guests.
• Prepare and serve between-meal nourishment snacks.
• Carry out cleaning duties per established policies and procedures.
• Report hazards, accidents, and equipment concerns to supervisors.
