Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen and dining areas. You will help prepare, serve and portion meals, assist in cleaning and maintaining food areas, and ensure safety and infection control policies are followed.

The role requires regular attendance, basic computer skills, and ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to work additional hours, weekends, or holidays may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have regular worksite attendance.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours, including weekends/holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in kitchen areas before, during and after meals.
• Help maintain clean work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow safety, infection control, and universal precautions policies.
• Assist in serving meals and beverages; prepare in-between meal snacks.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties and garbage disposal.
• Support cooks with meal preparation when needed.
• Report hazards and accidents to supervisor promptly.
