Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen before, during and after meals, maintaining work areas and ensuring equipment and food plates are clean and orderly.

You will follow facility policies, support meal service, help with nourishment snacks, and adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality requirements while supporting residents with dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Able to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen area before, during and after meals.
• Maintain kitchen work areas and keep equipment, utensils and food plates clean and orderly.
• Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages; prepare between-meal nourishment snacks.
• Assist cook in preparing meals as needed.
• Follow safety regulations, infection control and universal precautions.
