Job summary

Midwest Health Inc in Valley Falls, KS is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen before, during, and after meals, and to maintain clean and orderly work areas, utensils, and food plates.

You will support cooks, help serve meals, and assist with in-between meals, while following safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies to ensure a safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Regular worksite attendance is required.
• Basic computer skills may be required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Facility's personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report abuse or neglect immediately to the Administrator or Charge Nurse on Duty.
• Treat residents, family, visitors, and team members with dignity and respect.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages.
• Prepare and serve nourishment snacks.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties.
• Clean work tables, refrigerators, food storage, and related equipment.
• Carry out dishwashing/cleaning procedures and ensure utensils are available for meals.
