Job summary

Platinum Communities in Stevens Point, Wisconsin is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist the Dietary Supervisor and Cook with meal preparation, service, and cleanup for residents in an assisted living setting. You will help keep dining areas clean, sanitized, and organized while upholding a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English clearly.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain CBRF/RCAC certifications if required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with elderly and/or vulnerable populations with composure.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clean up the dining room before and after meals.
• Assist with basic meal preparation and service according to the planned menu.
• Help feed residents who need assistance following safe feeding practices.
• Maintain sanitary food handling techniques and safe work habits.
• Clean kitchen surfaces according to sanitation schedules.
• Support a dignified, respectful atmosphere with residents, families, guests, and team members.
• Promote a healthy, resident-focused environment by interacting cooperatively.
• Respond promptly to resident dietary needs and requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in line with company standards.
• Keep confidentiality regarding resident information and company operations in HIPAA compliance.
• Attend and participate in required meetings and in-service training.
• Follow all community policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
