Qualifications

• Knowledge of methods and techniques for handling and serving food.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices relating to food handling.
• Ability to follow diet lists, portion foods as specified, and serve food appetizingly.
• Ability to interact positively with staff, residents, families, visitors, and others.
• Read, write, speak and follow written and oral English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Handles food and equipment following sanitation policies.
• Operates equipment safely and adheres to safety regulations.
• Delivers food carts, trays, and snacks to designated areas.
• Prepares and delivers snacks for residents.
• Performs daily cleaning tasks per policy and procedure.
• Reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Ensures high-quality, compassionate service to residents and families.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
