Yona is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team in New Jersey. You will help maintain clean dining areas, assist in meal preparation, and deliver trays to residents and staff with a friendly, customer-focused approach.

The role requires dietary aide experience, strong communication, and knowledge of sanitation guidelines. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, with food services certification a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dietary aide is required.
• Customer service experience is appreciated.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Adept at operating cookware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect dishes and utensils.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations, wash dishes, and sanitize equipment.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Help track expenses and assist in menu planning.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and appliances.
