Yona is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the team in Brick Township, New Jersey. You will help set up dining areas, assist in meal preparation, and deliver trays to residents and rooms with a focus on cleanliness and timeliness.

The role emphasizes customer service, sanitation knowledge, and the ability to work under supervision of a dietary manager or cook. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with food service certification considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Further experience in customer service is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates and utensils.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes and utensils.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning.
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
