Yona in New Jersey seeks a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents with nourishing meals in a warm, friendly dining environment.

You will follow dietary guidelines, assist the dietary manager, deliver meals on schedule, keep dining areas clean, and help with stocking and basic kitchen tasks for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide in a healthcare or food-service setting.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines is required.
• Friendly, with good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times.
• Clear dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Dispose of leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
