Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support patient preparation, vital signs, documentation, and collaboration with providers. You will assist with procedures, schedule tests, and ensure accurate charting and communication of results.

Requirements include completion of an accredited MA program and certification within 12 months (CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/NPCE MA), plus BLS within 3 months. Strong computer skills and patient-centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program (CAAHP/ABHES or ABHES).
• Must obtain CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or NPCE MA within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize patient charts; document tests and exam results.
• Administer medications and immunizations under supervision.
• Schedule procedures, labs, x-rays, and surgeries; inform patients about plans.
