Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with exams, testing, and specimen collection, and help coordinate care.

Ideal candidates have MA training or related credentials and CPR certification, with 0-1 year of experience preferred. This is a full-time, day-shift role offering competitive pay and growth opportunities within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and MA program completion.
• MA externship/internship or EMT/Paramedic credentials preferred.
• Current MA certification or eligibility is desired.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
