Greendale Park Nursing & Rehab in Greendale, Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will help patients achieve independence and improve quality of life through personalized OT interventions under supervision.

The role emphasizes collaboration with therapists, accurate documentation, and commitment to high-quality patient care in acute care, rehab, or long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Currently certified as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) by NBCOT.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in an acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical and cognitive impairments.
• Conduct occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and interventions, under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of patient-centered care plans.
• Contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and development.
