Job summary

Grace Lutheran Communities - Corporate in Altoona, WI seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the Therapy team. The role offers flexibility in scheduling and a collaborative environment where your expertise is valued.

You will work directly with a committed team to advance rehabilitation in house and support patients across the continuum of care. Essential duties include implementing therapy plans, documenting progress, and communicating with other health professionals.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Wisconsin OT license in good standing required.
• CPR certification is required or maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance through stretches, exercises, therapeutic activities, and daily living tasks.
• Follow documented OT treatment plans and assist therapists in evaluating daily living skills and abilities.
• Perform routine tasks for individuals, including stretches and use of therapy equipment.
• Offer guidance, training, and education to individuals, families, and caregivers on therapy plans.
