Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Greendale Park Nursing & Rehab

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team at Greendale Park Nursing & Rehab in Greendale, Wisconsin. Responsibilities


  • Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical and cognitive impairments.

  • Conduct occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and interventions, under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.

  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

  • Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of patient-centered care plans.

  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and development.

Requirements


  • Currently certified as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy or related field preferred.

  • Prior experience in an acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred.
