Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in OTA or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience as a COTA; experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care, including exercises, activities, and interventions.
• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify physical and cognitive limitations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.

Education
