Bayshore Nursing & Rehab in Glendale, WI is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team. You will work with occupational therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans promoting independence, strength, and mobility.

Qualifications

• Current COTA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy assistant or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience as a COTA; experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care, including exercises, activities, and interventions
• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify physical and cognitive limitations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
