Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility in Salinas, CA. You will follow planned menus, ensure food safety, and maintain a clean kitchen while providing courteous service to residents and staff.

The role includes inventory support, adherence to dietary restrictions, and working in a team that values quality and resident satisfaction. This position starts at USD $18.11/hr and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
