You will follow planned menus, maintain food quality, and ensure safety standards while providing friendly, reliable service to residents and staff. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience in food preparation, ability to follow dietary restrictions, and valid ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Communicate effectively with occupants, staff and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation; keep a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide good service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
