Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May need sanitation/safety training as required by state laws.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification as per state/county requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests; provide excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
