This role requires a high school diploma, prior cooking experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and compliance with state health policies including ServSafe or Food Handler certification.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required per state law.
• Residency within service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
