Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality and safety, and interact positively with residents and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cooking experience, and the ability to manage dietary restrictions. Certification in ServSafe or Food Handler is preferred and residency within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and adapt to dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude; communicate with building occupants, administration, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean and orderly.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
