Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure meals meet quality and dietary standards while supporting resident well-being.

Follow approved recipes, maintain food safety and sanitation, manage kitchen cleanliness, and assist with inventory and ordering. You will interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
