The role emphasizes adherence to dietary restrictions, consistent meal presentation, and teamwork with the facility staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain good communication with occupants, staff and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering good service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
