Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine care per established policies. You will work under the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, and Administrator to maintain high-quality resident care on every shift.

The role requires a valid CNA license, at least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical training, and a genuine desire to help the ill and elderly. Strong English communication, empathy, and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical hours in training.
• Demonstrated desire to serve ill, aged and infirm.
• Clear written and spoken English communications.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, family and staff.
• Willing to work harmoniously with others.
• Maintain composure and empathy with residents.
• Remain in good health and emotionally stable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Make rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within resident reach.
• Carry out other duties as directed by supervisors.
