Lutheran Senior Services in Peoria, IL seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive care and assist residents with activities of daily living under nursing leadership. You will respond to call lights, help with mobility, and support personal care while respecting residents’ dignity.

The role emphasizes teamwork with an interdisciplinary group, documenting care in records and contributing to care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be part of a person-centered care team
• Must be able to communicate with residents
• Prior experience with direct patient/resident care preferable

Responsabilités

• Maintains residents’ comfort and provides ADL assistance per scope of practice.
• Responds to call lights and resident requests, reports observations to the nurse.
• Observes residents for changing needs and communicates with the nurse.
• Participates in residents’ care/service plans to improve quality of life.
• Assists with feeding and mealtime needs as required.
• Builds relationships with residents and families with compassion and professionalism.
• Supports resident involvement in daily activities and decision making.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff guidance.
• Documents care provided in clinical records.
