Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with residents.
• Prior experience with direct patient/resident care preferable.
• Missouri/Illinois CNA certification; PA enrollment eligibility within 120 days if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents' comfort and provides daily living care under scope of practice.
• Responds to call lights and resident requests; reports observations to the nurse.
• Assists with personal care needs and supports independence.
• Monitors changing needs and notifies nurse.
• Participates in care/service plans to improve residents' lives.
• Assists during mealtimes and feeds those needing full assistance.
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Supports resident involvement in daily activity decisions.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Documents care in clinical records and maintains compliance.
