Job summary

Sweetwater Care in the United States is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role involves assisting with daily living activities and delivering quality care under supervision.

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator, you will participate in resident rounds and ensure accuracy of resident identification before care and meals.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant.
• At least 6 months experience as CNA or clinical experience in a nursing assistant certification program.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter.
• Verify resident identification before administering care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to the admissions coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within resident reach.
• Other duties as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator.
