Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under the supervision of the nursing leadership. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality resident care in accordance with established policies.

Responsibilities include verifying resident identity, rounding on residents, maintaining clean beds and tables, and assisting with basic care tasks while delivering respectful, empathetic service to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license and 6 months' CNA experience or clinical CNA coursework.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work with ill, elderly residents and maintain patience and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator.
• Make beds and keep bedside tables clean.
