Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care to residents according to established policies. The role reports to nursing leadership and requires compassionate interaction with ill and elderly residents.

Responsibilities include carrying out nursing care, rounds every shift and maintaining safety and accuracy in resident identification and care delivery. The position emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to facility procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience in training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Must be in good health with emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals to ensure correct resident.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions promptly.
• Make beds and clean bedside tables; ensure water pitchers are within resident reach.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Charge Nurse or Administrator.
